DESCRIPTION:Many psychologists\, Carl Jung chief among them\, and other professionals like spiritual directors and gerontologists\, have addressed the psychology of the later-life years. The challenges and opportunities of life beyond the career-centric/family-upbringing years are addressed differently by everyone of us\, and there are a host of creative ways to live with vitality and purpose later-in-life. Both the “best” and the “boomer” generations find their journeys laden with new joys and burdens and\, above all\, opportunities for growth and self-expression that could not present themselves in the busyness of the mid-life years.
