SUMMARY:The Trickster - The Unexpected Guide to the Self
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, February 29\, 2024\, Dr. Judith Cooper will be presenting BY ZOOM a program on the Trickster. CEUs are available. Please scroll below to tickets (for both program registration and for CEUs). The zoom link will be sent a few days prior to the 29th. \nThe Trickster has many names such as the collective shadow (Jung)\, the Self (Doty)\, the personification of the Self-Care System (Kalsched)\, a metaphor for the Psyche (Samuels)\, the spirit of the transcendent function (McNeely)\, and the image of the individuation process itself. \n“He is the god of the unexpected\, of luck\, of coincidences\, of synchronicity…Whenever things seem fixed\, rigid\, stuck\, Hermes introduces fluidity\, motion\, new beginnings and the confusion that almost inevitably precedes new beginnings.”  Stassinopoulos\, Gods of Greece. \nIt has been noted that the archetype of the Trickster defies and resists easy classification and unified definition due to a capricious and tricky ambiguous nature   containing all conceivable opposites. Trickster has variously been named as the collective shadow (Jung)\, the Self (Doty)\, the personification of the Self-Care System (Kalsched)\, a metaphor for the psyche (Samuels)\, the spirit of the transcendent function (McNeely) and the image of the individuation process itself.  We will attempt to capture this elusive\, mercurial energy in all its paradoxical complexity and numinosity.  Trickster appears in the field of liminality\, bringing chaotic instability in its drive to subvert the social order\, as a shape-shifter\, thus carrying gender fluidity\, crossing and violating boundaries\, confusing and blurring distinctions between right and wrong\, sacred and profane\, male and female\, living and dead.  Trickster as an agent of a differentiation of morality\, holds the potential for humanizing marginality\, forcing us to question our ideas of order and morality\, and\, therefore\, is a potent force for healing and revitalizing culture. \nAs archetypal amplifications we will identify “trickster works of art” (Beebe) connected to Jung’s concept of the “visionary\,” that allows numinous images from the collective unconscious to emerge. \nFilm clips will be shown. Film is a formidable\, potent psychological medium whose transformative spaces  possess tricksterish qualities that dissolve the boundaries between the conscious and the unconscious\, a cinematic liminality. \nDr. Cooper is a clinical psychologist and diplomate Jungian Analyst. She has lectured widely on the anima/animus and the use of film in clinical treatment. She presented “Hail\, Aphrodite!: Re-sacralization of the Goddess of Love & Sex in David Ives’ Venus in Fur” at the IAAP Congress in Vienna. \nShe and a colleague have also aired a 7-part podcast series called Healing Cinema\, which was posted on the C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago’s website. The series analyses classical and contemporary films from a Jungian viewpoint including Hitchcock’s Rear Window\, The Lost Daughter\, and Tar.

SUMMARY:The Use of Psychedelics in Psychotherapy
DESCRIPTION:APRIL 6\, 2024 PRESENTATION:  PSYCHEDELIC THERAPIES \nPlease scroll below to register. 3 CEUs are available. This program will be i n person at First Community (1320 Cambridge Blvd.\, Grandview Ohio 43212) AND by Zoom. \n3 hour presentation.  Each speaker will make a 1 hr.\, 15 min presentation.  The expectation is to set aside 30 minutes for questions. \n\nJames A. Fidelibus\nJames A. Fidelibus\, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in the State of Ohio and holds a diploma as a Jungian Analyst from the C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago. He also has advanced training in couples therapy from the Gottman Institute and Ottawa Couple & Family Institute\, as well as advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Fidelibus has published on psychotherapy outcomes and given presentations on analytical psychology locally\, nationally\, and internationally. \nPresentation:  Psychedelics\, also known as entheogens\, are catalysts of mystical experience. Transliterated from the Greek\, these words refer to an ineffable experience of union with the divine or oneness with the universe. Under their influence\, the ego recedes and there is a soul-connection with a reality beyond logical comprehension. Jung called this an experience of the numinous and remarked in a 1945 letter to a colleague that he considered the approach to the numinous\, not the cure of neurosis\, to be at the heart of his work. Unlike Freud\, Jung saw the unconscious less as the container of repressions and more as the realm of the archetypes and the dwelling place of the divine. He did not use psychedelics or entheogens as a means to enter this realm. In fact\, he warned against it. His approach was to make use of dreams\, fantasy\, mythology\, fairy tales\, and various art forms and artifacts to connect with a level of experience that the unaided ego could never approach on its own. Jung had his misgivings about creating spiritual experience with a pill. He was concerned\, first\, with overwhelming consciousness with archetypal images that could precipitate a psychosis. He was also concerned about taking short cuts that would prove to be ultimately hollow. Nevertheless\, both research and clinical experience have proven the utility of psychedelics when used competently and responsibly within the context of analytic work. This presentation will examine a particular case from a Jungian perspective in which analysis was conducted over a two-year period following patient experience with psilocybin. Attention will be paid to the prerequisites for including psychedelics as an adjunct to analytic work\, the stages of the psychedelic journey\, and the stages of progression through the course of the analytic work itself. \nDylan Rivard\nDylan has an MA in Transpersonal Psychotherapy with a Wilderness Therapy focus from Naropa University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado\, as well as a Certified Hakomi Therapist. He has trained with the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI)\, and assisted in the Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s Psychedelic Therapy Certification. He serves as faculty for trainings with both Elemental Psychedelics and The Congregation of Sacred Practices\, as well as serving on the board of The Nowak Society; a Colorado based non-profit focused on psychedelic advocacy and public education. With over 10 years of experience in mental health\, he now runs his own private practice where he serves clients working through trauma\, grief\, and spiritual growth. \nPresentation:  Psychedelic therapies and research have exploded into the cultural consciousness in the last few years. With headlines claiming that psychedelics can cure depression and PTSD\, along with stories of plane crashes caused by magic mushrooms\, it is important to cultivate a critical lens through which to look at the emerging “Psychedelic Renaissance”. In this presentation Dylan Rivard will walk you through some of the current research and leading theories of psychedelic therapy\, as well as looking at ways in which psychedelic work has been held historically. He will compare and contrast emerging psychological models with traditionally held indigenous viewpoints\, as well as examining issues regarding community care versus individual self-actualization. Participants in this workshop will gain a greater understanding of the current uses of psychedelics in psychotherapy\, issues of culture and oppression at play in the emerging psychedelic landscape\, as well as a deeper understanding of the current critiques and limitations of psychedelic psychotherapy. \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Book Discussion on Lionel Corbett's "God-Image: From Antiquity to Jung"
DESCRIPTION:We have wrapped up Part I of Man & His Symbols.  It has been a very interesting journey\, and it has been wonderful having so many of you join us.  We are giving serious consideration to continuing with this book in the fall.  However\, for now\, and after much discussion\, we have decided to explore a different angle of Jungian psychology/philosophy.   Starting on Sunday\, June 9\, 2024\, Board Member Mary Marx has graciously offered to lead a discussion on a 70-minute lecture by Lionel Corbett to study ideas from his book the God-Image:  From Antiquity to Jung.  We will meet 3-4 times watching segments of the video followed by discussion. \nAccording to Corbett\, a new God-image is emerging alongside our traditional God-images.  According to Jung\, an innate God-image (the Self) exists in the psyche and allows a personal connection to the sacred.  Images of the Self have a particular quality about them\, e.g.\, mysterious\, fascinating\, awesome\, dreadful\, and uncanny.  They point to wholeness and completion.  Corbett says that God images in traditional religions and sacred texts such as the Bible “might be intellectually and emotionally satisfying (even if not directly experienced) but personal numinous experience is more convincing.”  In addition to explaining Jung’s approach and providing rich examples\, Corbett shows how Jung’s ideas bypass difficulties in traditional teachings\, such as how a God of Absolute Goodness can be reconciled with evil and suffering in the world. \nAll meetings will be by Zoom starting Sunday\, June 9\, 2024 from 4-5 pm and every 2 weeks thereafter.   Coming to Book Club is free\, but you do need to register so that we can send you the Zoom link and contact you in the event of any changes.  If you have any questions\, feel let us know.  Otherwise\, please scroll below to register (RSVP).  This should be a great discussion!

SUMMARY:The Unconscious Takes Note: Jungian Influence on the Poetry of Paula J. Lambert
DESCRIPTION:In person AND on Zoom. Registration required. Scroll below to register please.  You will see one RSVP for attending in person and a separate RSVP if you will be participating by Zoom. In person attendance will be at 1550 Old Henderson Road\, Suite N142\, Columbus\, OH 43220. Though this is a free program\, donations are aways welcome and gratefully received. To donate\, click here. \nWe are delighted to announce that Paula J. Lambert\, an award-winning Ohio poet whose work has long been influenced by the work of C.G. Jung and her own intense dream work\, will be our speaker in June. Ms. Lambert has authored five chapbooks\, including Uncertainty (The Only Hope We Have) (Bottlecap Press 2023) and four poetry collections.   Her newest collection of poetry\, As If This Did Not Happen Every Day (Sheila-Na-Gig Editions 2024)\, will be the focus of her presentation.  This collection moves forward from the mostly bird-oriented poems she has been working on for years\, focusing now on creatures such as fish\, whales\, turtles\, and snakes.  In her presentation she will draw upon Jung materials as well as read from her own work.  Ms. Lambert’s work reflects her belief that salvation\, if it is to be had\, is not in mimicking the patriarchal.  Rather\, grace lies within the larger\, divine concept of a collective feminine intending to bring the world back to its natural balance.

SUMMARY:Jung’s Psychology of the Complexes: A Program for Mental Health Professionals
DESCRIPTION:We are once again honored to make available a program for mental health professionals; this year focusing on the issue of Jung’s Psychology of the Complexes.  As many of you know\, this clinical program was begun by one of our founders\, Dick Sweeney\, a number of years ago.  We have been fortunate that the program has continued under the tutelage of psychologist and Jungian analyst\, James Fidelibus\, Ph.D.  This year the  program will run from September 13\, through December 6\, 2024\, and consist of 7 two-hour sessions (9-11 am) for a total of 14 continuing education units.  It is being offered by Zoom only. Dr. Fidelibus will delve into Jungian theory relative to the structure of  complexes as well as the relationships among personal complexes and the architecture of Jung’s model of the psyche.  He will also help develop insight into activation of complexes in various contexts (e.g.\, dreams\, therapeutic relationships). Please refer to the syllabus for more detailed information. Scroll below to register. \nComplexes Seminar Syllabus \n  \n

SUMMARY:Jung Book Club - “The Undiscovered Self”
DESCRIPTION:Our Book Club is not only growing\, it is thriving.  We have just finished a number of meetings with Mary Marx where we explored\, through video and discussion\, Lionel Corbett’s vision of the concept of god from antiquity to Jung.  Beginning on September 15 (and continuing September 29 and October 13)\, the Rev. David Hett will delve into Carl Jung’s book\, “The Undiscovered Self.”  In that book\, Jung wrote that we have entered “an apocalyptic age filled with images of universal destruction\,” and expresses how\, as individuals\, we must respond to this reality.  In this fate-full fall presidential election season set in a time of extreme polarization\, Jung’s book provides insight into the seductive power of “mass-mindedness” pulling the individual away from their own inner search and self-awareness.  Further\, Jung’s insights will resonate not only with the study of Lionel Corbett’s beliefs\, but also\, with the upcoming lecture by Dr. Richard Sweeney who\, on October 19\, 2024\, will speak to the “Strength of Jungian Psychology:  Illuminating the Darkness” as well as Rev. Hett’s November 16\, 2024 presentation on “The Archetype of the Apocalypse.” \nThe book club meets on Sundays (see dates above) from 4:00-5:00 pm EST and is a Zoom only get-together.  The book club is free (although donations are always greatly appreciated so we can keep doing what we do).  You need to register so we can send you the zoom invite for the meeting dates. SUMMARY:Preview Video & Registration for The Strength of Jungian Psychology: Illuminating the Darkness - Presented by Dr. Richard Sweeney
DESCRIPTION:Preview video – an interview with Dr. Sweeney with JACO Board member Maggi Colwell about the program he will be presenting.  \n35th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION\nOctober 19\, 2024 by Zoom AND at First Community North (scroll down to see venue address) \n2 pm to 4 pm  Seminar Presented by Richard J. Sweeney\, Ph.D. (2 CEUs available) \n4:00 – 5:00 pm  Panel of JACO scholars/founders/leaders through the years \n5:00 -6:30 pm   Reception \nA Silent Auction will be taking place at this event. Bidding will open at 1 pm so that attendees can view the auction items before Dr. Sweeney’s lecture begins. To learn about the Silent Auction\, click here. \nProgram Description:  In genuine synchronistic fashion JACO’s 35th anniversary arrives in 2024\, designated in Tarot symbolism as “The Year of Strength.”  This occurs as people world-wide debate what truly constitutes ‘a strong man’ or ‘a strong woman.’  Jungian thought contributes significantly and uniquely to this conversation by arguing that true strength of character derives from “illuminating the darkness.”  In other words\, strength emerges from a particular orientation to the archetypal shadow\, namely from an embrace of the less known and less accepted aspects of ourselves.  Precisely what this entails will be the focus of this afternoon lecture and discussion.  In so doing\, we hope to illumine in some way the strength we can bring to the challenges before us in 2024. Scroll below for registration tickets and for CEU credits. \n

SUMMARY:Bollingen Conference Video and Panel Discussion
DESCRIPTION:It is difficult to find the right words to express our appreciation for the amazing turnout for our October 19th 35th Anniversary Bollingen Conference. Dr. Sweeney\, as always\, brought such amazing insight on the question of what does it mean to be a strong person. The Silent Auction was a success. The panel discussion brought out some excellent ideas on how we can continue to grow in today’s changing environment\, including rekindling Second Saturdays. And the reception was a wonderful time for getting to know each other better. And so\, we thank you for being such a valued member of the JACO community. The recording of Dr. Sweeney’s lecture is now available. If you are interested\, please reach out to our Office Manager\, Stephen Weed\, by emailing him here. \nIn addition\, we are posting here the panel discussion. If you were at the conference\, you know it was informative and entertaining. If you were not\, check it out. It provided some valuable insights as to our roots and ideas for the future. It is available by clicking here.

SUMMARY:FACING THE ARCHETYPE OF THE APOCALYPSE
DESCRIPTION:PRESENTATION BY REV. DAVID HETT\nNovember 16\, 2024\, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.\nIn Person and By Zoom\nConference Room\, 1550 Old Henderson Road\, Columbus\, OH. 43220  \n$35 members/$45 non-members \n Following Dr. Sweeney’s lecture on “Illuminating the Darkness\,” what better way to round out 2024 than with a lecture by Rev. David Hett on the apocalyptic archetype.  As explained by Rev. Hett\, this election season has often been put in apocalyptic terms.  But no matter how the election turns out\, it is clear that\, as expressed by Car Jung at the height of the Cold War and the nuclear threat “we are living in an apocalyptic age” and\, as stated by Edward Edinger at the dawn of our new millennium\, “the Apocalypse archetype is now highly activated in the collective psyche and is living itself out in human history.” \nMany cultures in various eras of human history have their own myths of world destruction\, suggesting the archetypal power of apocalyptic awareness. And yet\, in all these aeons of suspected destruction\, the universe\, the earth\, and humanity still exist pointing to a deeper\, and inner\, psychological-spiritual meaning of the world’s end.  Which becomes even more apparent when we realize that the word apocalypse comes from a Greek root meaning a ‘revelation\,’ ‘a ‘revealing\,’ an ‘unveiling’ of some hidden wisdom. \nUsing insights from Edinger’s The Archetype of the Apocalypse:  A Jungian Study of the Book of Revelation\, and others\, Rev. Hett will lead us into an exploration of this archetypal phenomena and how consciously facing\, and even embracing\, its inner richness has the transformative potential of enriching our souls and the world. \nDavid is a retired teacher of the psychological-spiritual work called the Diamond Approach and a retired United Methodist minister.  He is also a student of Jungian and archetypal psychology\, and has spoken previously on Jungian topics\, synthesizing Jungian concepts with progressive Christianity and other spiritual modalities.  He will be facilitating the upcoming JACO book study on Carl Jung’s The Undiscovered Self.   He currently resides in Chicago where he can be close to family and grandchildren.

SUMMARY:2025 TAROT WORKSHOP REGISTRATION
DESCRIPTION:Zoom Only\nJanuary 7\, January 21\, February 4\, February 18\, 2025; 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm EST \nBack by popular demand—JudyAnne Morse will be putting on a 4-part workshop on the Tarot. Ms. Morse is a graduate of the Pacific Mystery School and a certified teacher of Kaballah and Tarot in the Western Mystery Tradition. JudyAnne is a graduate of the Pacific Mystery School\, obtaining a Teaching Certification for Kabbalah and Tarot in the Western Mystery Tradition. She is also a certified Visionary Cosmologist. The second workshop will provide you with a deeper understanding of the Tarot by focusing on the structure of number and rank of the Tarot cards and their elemental association. The third workshop will focus on the importance of number and element in Tarot. Specifically\, the focus will be on the Minor Arcana and its relationship to each of the Four Worlds of the Kabbalah and the Tarot suits. And finally\, she will focus on the Court cards recognizing that they are complex and directly connected to number (rank) and are elemental guides for the worlds of Fire\, Water\, Air/Wind\, and Earth. \nBecause of the integrative nature of this Workshop\, we strongly recommend that you attend all sessions; however\, in an effort to accommodate varying interests\, it will be available as singular sessions as well. This is always a popular program\, so sign up! \nCost of the workshop is $120 for members and $140 for non-members. Individual sessions are $35 each for members\, and $40 each for non-members. SUMMARY:JANUARY - FEBRUARY 2025 BOOK CLUB: "The New Polytheism"
DESCRIPTION:January 12\, January 26\,\nFebruary 9\,February 23\n4:00 pm – 530 pm \nVia Zoom \nWe hope you can join us starting on January 12\, 2025 when Mary Marx will begin leading us through a discussion of David Miller’s book\, The New Polytheism. David Miller is a well-loved teacher (Syracuse and Pacifica) and widely published author in religion\, myth\, depth psychology\, and literary theory. According to Miller\, monotheism wants everyone’s “explanation systems (e.g.\, theological\, historical\, psychological) under one all-embracing system … a single center that holds things together.” In contrast\, polytheistic thinking frees us from having “to get it all together.” It is Miller’s premise that the “psyche” is polytheistic\, with “multiple potencies\, and structures of meaning and being.” As such\, this approach better matches the plurality of our lived experience. \nAs always\, Book Club is a free program for our members. But\, in order to get the Zoom link\, you need to register. So please scroll below to do so via the RSVP.

SUMMARY:TENTH ANNUAL BAUZA LECTURE - THE SPIRITUAL PARADOX OF ADDICTION: THE CALL FOR THE TRANSCENDENT
DESCRIPTION:March 15\, 2025\, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm EST [The Ides of March]\nAshok Bedi\, M.D.\, Jungian Analyst\n3 CEUs are available\nZoom Only\n \nViewing Party at 1550 Old Henderson Road\, Conference Room (back entrance)\, Columbus\, OH 43220\nAlthough this program is by Zoom\, you have 2 options:\n1. Watch it from home\n2. Watch it in community at the Conference Room at 1550 Old Henderson Road. The cost is the same except that if you join us for the Viewing Party\, we provide snacks\, coffee\, and tea. \nRegardless of where or how you will be joining us\, please scroll below to register. There are 4 ticket options. If you are not currently a member and wish to take advantage of the member registration fee\, you may click here to join. \nA description of the program and information about Dr. Bedi follows. Click on INTERVIEW WITH DR. BEDI to learn a little more. \n \nLast year\, the topic of our Bauza lecture was “Psychedelics & The Dynamics of Transformation: A Jungian View.” It focused on the use of psychedelic drugs in treatment. As a variation on this issue\, we reached out to Dr. Ashok Bedi\, who has written several books on healing\, the most recent of which is the topic of the lecture. This book is addressed to people with addiction issues\, their families and friends\, as well as interested laypeople\, government policy makers\, and treatment professionals. \nAlthough we had originally hoped for this to be in person\, in working with Dr. Bedi and his challenging scheduled\, we decided on a Zoom only platform. Dr. Bedi was trained in India\, Great Britain\, and the United States. He has been a psychiatrist in Milwaukee since 1976 and now practices adult psychotherapy and Jungian psychanalysis. He is interested in the emerging frontiers of spirituality and healing\, and the synapses of the mind\, body\, soul\, and spirit. He is the liaison person for the International Association of the Analytical Psychologists for developing Jungian training programs in India. \nDr. Bedi will be speaking to the issue of the high degree of spiritual drive he has found in individuals with whom he has worked who have dealt with mental illnesses in general and addiction in particular. Carl Jung\, in his counsel to his patient Roland Herrington\, prescribed that he needed a sort of religious or conversion experience to claim his sobriety. In his book\, “The Spiritual Paradox of Addiction\,” Dr. Bedi posits that instead of using addictive behaviors to attain connection with Spirit or the deeper\, higher\, and creative consciousness\, recovering addicts can learn to engage with Spirit directly\, thus making the addictive detours unnecessary. His thoughts and guidance to Spirit are applicable to all of us no matter our mental health\, addictions\, or day-to-day living. \nLearning Objectives\n1. Discuss the dynamics of the spiritual paradox of addiction\n2. Present the Jung – Bill W. dialogue to understand the context of the 12 Steps program\n3. Explore the 12 Steps program from an Eastern and Analytical lens\n4. Explain the anatomy of the experience of connection with the spiritual life\n5. Illustrate the contemplative practice of Mindfulness as a path to the Spirit \nAshok Bedi\, M.D. is a Jungian psychoanalyst and a board-certified psychiatrist. He is a member of the Royal College of psychiatrists of Great Britain\, a diplomat in Psychological Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of England\, a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is a Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and a training analyst at the Carl G. Jung Institute of Chicago. His books include In the Eye of the Storm- Staying Centered in Personal and Collective Crisis\, The Spiritual Paradox of Addiction\, Crossing the Healing Zone\, Awaken the Slumbering Goddess: The Latent Code of the Hindu Goddess Archetypes\, Retire Your Family Karma: Decode Your Family Pattern and Find Your Soul Path and Path to the Soul. He is the liaison for the IAAP for developing Jungian training programs in India and travels annually to India to teach\, train the consult with the Jungian Developing groups at several centers in India including Ahmedabad and Mumbai. He leads the annual “A Jungian Encounter with the Soul of India” study group to several centers in India under the auspices of the New York Jung Foundation and the Carl Jung Institute of Chicago. He is an author and produced a podcast about aging with intention called “Stories for the Ages” on NPR. \nJohn’s program will present an overview of some significant recent research on spirituality\, neuro-science\, nature\, and meditation. It is designed to assist us in (a) understanding the 4 levels of meditation; (b) reviewing brain research related to meditation; and (c) helping us to better appreciate the practices and approaches of meditation. John considers the program a “Western scientific step to knitting [the split between spirit and matter] by looking at what happens in our brains as the basis for consciousness shifts when we regularly engage some form of Eastern/Western or indigenous spiritual or mindful practice.” \n

SUMMARY:SATURDAY CONVERSATIONS: RUSSIAN NUMEROLOGY (See Video Interview with Presenter!)
DESCRIPTION:See Video Interview with presenter Anastasia Svenchenko by clicking here. \nJoin us on June 14\, 2025 from 10 AM to noon for an IN PERSON informative presentation and conversation regarding Russian Numerology presented by Anastasia Svenchenko. The address is 1550 Old Henderson Road\, Conference Room (back of building)\, Columbus\, OH 43220 \nRussian numerology was developed by Russian mathematicians who combined ancient knowledge of Egyptian priests\, Chinese sages\, and Pythagoreans with substantial modern-day research to create a system designed to see not just stagnant numbers\, but their motions\, transitions to other numbers\, creations of new numbers and more. As such\, it is a unique system that allows one to gain valuable insights about individuals\, interpersonal interactions\, and even historical events. \nAnastasia Shevchenko is a Russian born Professional Numerologist with more than 25 years of study and research of individual personalities and compatibility\, and more than 10 years of professional consultations and teaching. At the age of 12\, she discovered a strong interest in Metaphysical Science\, which started with card readings and gradually progressed to the fields of Astrology\, Numerology\, Dream Interpretation\, as well as Tarot cards readings. Along the way\, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Finance in Russia\, and was taking graduate school classes in Clinical Psychology before relocating to America. She continued her education in America and graduated with both her BA in Psychology and her MA in Organizational Management from Ashford University. \nAnastasia is excited to share her life passion for numbers with you. She hopes to make it clear that you don’t need to have years of research or be mathematically inclined in order to benefit from the simple numerical calculations that can provide a wide range of information about human patterns of behavior\, potential choices\, glimpses of past life influences\, and this life’s mission. \nTo better highlight advantages of Russian Numerology and give real life examples\, Anastasia will analyze the profiles of Carl Jung\, as well as few other well-known psychologists. If you would like to learn more about yourself and how you compare to these psychologists\, please bring with you a completed copy of the numerology worksheet that you will receive when you RSVP below. \nSaturday Conversations are always free but donations are always welcome. Just click here to donate!  Kindly RSVP below if you plan to attend. This will help us prepare the space and the environment to fully support you. This will also enable us to send you in advance the numerology worksheet. Thank you!

SUMMARY:SATURDAY CONVERSATIONS
DESCRIPTION:August 16\, 2026\, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST\n1550 OLD HENDERSON ROAD\, COLUMBUS\, OH 43220\, NORTH ENTRANCE (back of building)\nIn Person Only \n \nOur Saturday Conversations continue to grow. On Saturday\, August 16th we have the great pleasure of having coffee and conversation with Mike Schaeffer (long time JACO member\, spouse\, father\, grandfather\, computer modeling in the construction industry and\, oh yes\, a psychotherapist). Mike says it best: \n Coffee and conversation is about creating a space for a more ‘subjective’ experience and Jungian ideas. Our intent is to begin with a seed topic to get the conversation going and then to remain open to the path that develops from there. This space will be about engaging in the process of individuation in each of the participants and in the group as a whole…. There is a time as we age when our energy shifts from accumulating knowledge to expressing the Self. So let’s engage in Self expression! \nAlthough free\, it is immensely helpful to us if you RSVP so we have enough coffee and snacks as well as prepare the space to receive you. Thank you! \nPlease scroll below to RSVP.

SUMMARY:Book Club Discussion: “Moving Toward the Millionth Circle” (Rescheduled to September 7)
DESCRIPTION:SEPTEMBER 7\, 2025 and every 2 weeks thereafter until done. Zoom only. \nThis has been a time of so much energy with people having so many plans and activities that we have decided to postpone Book Club until the end of summer. So\, instead of starting with our next book on July 6\, we are waiting until September 7\, 2025. So\, enjoy the summer and join us on September 7th as we explore “Moving Toward the Millionth Circle” with Board member and licensed art therapist Maggi Colwell. \nA link will be sent out prior to the September Book Club. \nStarting September 7\, 2025\, Maggi Colwell will be leading us in a discussion of Jean Shinoda Bolen’s Book\, “Moving Toward the Millionth Circle”; a spiritual book for women that serves as a practical and poetic call to action\, inspiring woman and others to follow a path with soul.  The premise of the book is that it is through the process of a growing number of people changing their perceptions and behaviors that a new era will begin.  Those in these circles feed the activism by strengthening each other and\, in turn\, the movement as a whole. \nThe Book Club Discussion series is always free\, but you do need to register in order that we can send you the link.  Please scroll below to register (RSVP).
